Vidal Design Collaborative evolved from homes like this – worn down and unloved for many years, this small bungalow in the heart of Silverlake was plagued with an awkward floorplan.

We took the narrow internal kitchen and relocated it to overlook the garden. Walls were moved to improve the flow and closets were turned into bathrooms. The pine siding and timber strip floors were stained to create a warm backdrop for a blend of vintage, ethnic and mid-century finishes and furnishings.
